A leading global medical device manufacturer is seeking a Field Service Engineer based in the Sheffield area. This full-time, permanent role involves providing technical support and consultancy services to clients in the dental sector, with opportunities for overtime and professional development. Qualifications

• Experience in servicing/maintaining machinery, ideally machine tools or CNC equipment.
• Working experience in a client-facing field service role.
• Academic/working background in mechanical or electrical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and consultancy service to clients including maintenance and installation.
• Travel across UK and Ireland for client site visits.
• Occasional travel to European Headquarters for training.

Field Service Engineer

Field based , covering UK & Ireland, ideally base in the Sheffield/Leeds/Manchester area

£40-45K plus Car plus overtime plus bonus plus enhanced pension

40 Hours, Mon-Fri

Are you an experience Field Service Engineer, ideally from a machine tools background, looking for a role with a well established, global medical device manufacturer?

Earnings can be significantly increased through overtime and training will be provided on the specific product and field of work.

The company are well established, financially healthy, and can offer further progression due to the expected growth of the UK business.

The role will be covering the UK and Ireland, with occasional stayaways, visiting client sites for pre install, install, maintenance and training support.

The Role

1. Full time, permanent, field based role with a global manufacturer supplying the dental sector.
2. Provide a full technical and consultancy service to clients-Maintenance, servicing, installation, repairs, training).
3. Travel across UK and Ireland, with occasional stayaways. Also occasional travel to European Headquarters for training purposes.

The Person

1. Academic/working background in engineering-mechanical or electrical
2. Working experience in an autonomous client-facing field service or related role
3. Experience of servicing/maintaining machinery, ideally machine tools or CNC equipment
4. IT literate -MS Office, CRM system such as SAP
