Role Objective

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be instrumental in servicing and maintaining a diverse range of personal safety equipment and fixed gas detection systems. Your expertise will ensure compliance, reliability, and user confidence across client sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service and maintenance of portable gas detectors, SCBA, Escape Breathing apparatus, and fall arrest and lifting equipment.
  • Set up and commissioning of new gas detection systems.
  • Building trust-based relationships with clients and identifying additional safety equipment needs.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction to drive repeat business.
  • Completing all relevant paperwork and updating the CRM database.
  • Providing vital data for management reporting and supporting the workshop as needed.
The Ideal Candidate

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ proven engineering experience as a Field Service Engineer or a Static Engineer/ Technician, ideally within the safety equipment industry.
  • Background in utilities, engineering, or construction sectors preferred.
  • Knowledge of fixed gas detection systems is desirable but not essential.
  • Demonstrated experience in fault-finding and effective decision-making.
