Job Title: Field Service Engineer – Sheet-fed Litho Presses
Location: North West England (home based in the Midlands or South East; travel required)
Salary: Highly Competitive - Negotiable
Responsibilities
- Install, repair and maintain the Company’s products to a specified standard and carry out customer training when required to provide the highest level of service.
- Put the customer at the heart of all activity ensuring exceptional customer service in a high paced environment.
- Represent the Company with a professional and committed attitude.
- Respond to call outs in a timely and professional manner; identify and resolve technical faults.
- Provide advice and training to customers when required.
- Undertake relevant training as directed, which may include computer based training.
- Undertake all repairs in a safe manner and in accordance with manufacturers’ recommendations and Health and Safety legislation.
- Complete all necessary reporting requirements and paperwork accurately and timely.
- Effectively use technology tools such as PDA and laptop.
- Maintain car stock to required standards.
- Support other engineers as necessary.
Relationship and Communication
- Build strong working relationships and communicate effectively with Technical Specialists, Service Managers, Work Controllers, Sales and relevant departments.
- Build and maintain professional, confident and friendly relationships with customers and colleagues.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Proven background in field service engineering with a logical approach to problem solving.
- Strong interpersonal skills working within a team.
- The ability to work alone but also be part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a high degree of computer literacy.
- Full UK driving license.
