A leading timber processor is seeking an Area Sales Manager to cover Midlands/North England. This field-based role involves selling to an established customer base, building key accounts, and achieving sales targets. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated with experience in timber or building products. Skills in communication and stakeholder engagement are essential. Occasional overnight stays are required for site and customer visits.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience selling within the builders' merchant sector.
  • Experience dealing with buying groups or their members.
  • Strong communication skills to engage with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Sell to an established customer base and generate new business.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key accounts.
  • Achieve or exceed annual sales targets.
  • Lead and grow the sales territory.
