Job Title

Female Support Worker – Swansea

Contract & Location

Permanent – Swansea

Hours & Working Pattern

20 hours per week (2 x 10‑hour shifts, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 6:00 pm). Extra shifts may be available for holidays and sickness, but these are not guaranteed.

Pay

Weekday 8:00 am – 6:00 pm: £15.50 per hour

Closing Date

12th December 2025 (the advert may close earlier if a high volume of suitable applicants is received).

Responsibilities
  • Assist with personal care and physiotherapy in the mornings.
  • Support day‑out activities (e.g., cinema, brunch/lunch, shopping, coffee, cake).
  • Facilitate access to the client’s interests and help explore new activities.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Experience in care, preferably with a person who has a birth injury such as cerebral palsy.
  • Experience supporting a person with communication difficulties.
  • Must be able to drive and have use of a personal car (client’s vehicle is not used during work).
  • Must be able to drive the client’s adapted vehicle to take them out.
  • Willingness to register with Social Care Wales.
  • Enhanced level DBS check required.
  • Full induction and training will be provided.
