Overview

Female Personal Care Assistant required for a lady in a wheelchair living in the Chester le Street area. Duties include bathing, dressing, meal preparation, some cooking and light household tasks. Must hold a clean driving licence.

Hours: 27 hours per week to be worked as follows:

Monday, Thursday and Saturday mornings 9:00 – 12:00 (3 hrs per shift)

Monday and Tuesday overnight sleep 9 hrs per shift. Must be able to cover holidays where possible.

Wage: £13.00 per hour.

A further position is available for 2 hours in the afternoon each day. Nursing background would be an advantage; training will be given. Wage £13.00 per hour.

Successful applicants may be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check paid for by the employer prior to commencing work.
