Job summary

A social care organization in Wake Green is looking for carers to provide personal care and assist with light household duties for an outgoing lady. The role requires honesty, reliability, and previous caring experience. Flexibility in hours is essential, with the starting need of 6 hours per week. This position is subject to a satisfactory DBS check, with costs covered by the employer.

About the Employer
  • Outgoing lady in Kings Heath with limited mobility looking for two carers to assist with personal care, preparing light lunch and light domestic duties.
  • Two cats in the home so PA must be comfortable with cats.
  • Six hours per week to start with the potential for more in the future.

  • The individual keeps pets in the home. Two friendly cats.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support and/or prompt with personal care. This may include toileting, showering/bathing, getting in and out of bed, getting dressed.
  • Support and/or prompt with cooking/meal preparation and eating meals/drinks.
  • Assist with household chores and general homemaking.
  • Develop a good and trusting one to one working relationship.
  • The individual\'s needs may vary from day to day and your tasks may reflect this. You could be required to perform other duties as reasonably required.
  • You have a responsibility as an employee to report all accidents to the employer immediately. You have a duty to report defects and / or hazards which may give rise to an accident. You are to ensure the safety of the individual at all times.
  • Due to the nature of the work for which you are applying, this post is subject to a satisfactory DBS disclosure (costs will be covered).
