Overview

Female Teacher of PE - London, Haringey

Prospero Teaching is working with an Ofsted rated Good school who is looking to recruit an NQT or experienced Female Teacher of PE. We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic PE specialist who can start in a thriving and supportive school based in Haringey, North London. This position is starting ASAP / January 2025 and is open to NQTs or experienced teachers. The ideal Female PE Teacher will be committed, positive and a versatile practitioner to join their successful department. You would be required to deliver excellent subject knowledge to KS3 and KS4. This is a large mixed secondary school with excellent sports facilities and strong pastoral support. This school prides itself on creating a positive and respectful learning environment. It also offers extra free training in school, including CPD opportunities for staff at all stages of their career.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver excellent subject knowledge to KS3 and KS4.
  • Teach PE across years 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11.
  • Support pupils’ physical development and participation in school sport activities.
  • Collaborate with the department to plan and assess curriculum and inform assessment of pupil progress.
  • Contribute to the provision of safeguarding and behaviour management.
Qualifications
  • QTS or equivalent.
  • PGCE / SCITT / Teach First.
  • PE or Sports Science-related degree.
  • Female teacher.
Contract Details
  • Location: North London - Haringey.
  • Position: Female Teacher of PE.

  • Minimum rate of pay: PAY TO SCALE - Outer London.
  • Hours: 8:00am - 3:30pm or 4:00pm, plus parents' evenings.
