A specialist care provider in Wrexham is seeking a Female Mental Health Support Worker to provide personalized support for a lady with complex needs. The role involves 1:1 support, using a therapeutic approach, and offers competitive pay along with comprehensive training. Candidates must have relevant experience in social care and be eligible to work in the UK.

£13.50 per hour
This post is exempt under the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1. Due to the nature of the role and the needs of the people we support, we can only accept applications from Female's for this position.
Gray Healthcare are recruiting a new team of mental health support workers within the Wrexham area to support a lady in her late twenties with a diagnosis of Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder and Schizoaffective disorder, who will be living independently in her own home receiving 1:1 support 24 hours a day. The lady we will be supporting has a keen interest in baking and crafts and likes to keep busy and active. She will be supported by a female team on mixed shifts of days and waking nights.
1 x 36 Hour Contract - 2 x 12 hour day shifts, 8am to 8pm and 1 x 12 hour waking night 8pm to 8am, with alternative weekends.
We provide an initial week of training which is a combination of online training (Company induction, systems, and Medication). Followed by in-person training on PROACT-SCIPr-UK which is a PBS approach to least restrictive practice, this is a therapeutic and proven alternative to restraint dominant approaches. You will then complete the person-centred training, specific to the person that you are supporting. Training continues throughout your time with Gray Healthcare, and we encourage you to develop and grow your career with us.
