Overview of the Job

To give people the crucial support they need in their homes, we are looking for a kind and trustworthy female home assistant (or live-in carer). In order to ensure our clients’ comfort and wellbeing, the perfect candidate will be essential in helping with everyday living tasks. Excellent communication skills, a proactive approach to care, and the capacity to successfully adhere to care plans are prerequisites for this role.

Duties

• Help clients with grooming, clothing, and bathing, among other personal care duties.
• As needed, assist clients with physical activity and mobility.
• Assist with dietary requirements and prepare meals while making sure care plans are followed.
• To improve customers’ quality of life, offer them company and include them in social activities.
• Maintain the home’s cleanliness and safety, including minor housekeeping tasks.
• Keep track of daily activities and notify the proper staff of any changes in the client’s condition or conduct.
• When necessary, drive clients to social events or appointments while making sure they are safe.

Skills

• Strong communication skills and fluency in English allow for productive interactions with families and clients.
• While not required, prior experience in home care or care home environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of creating and adhering to care plans customised to meet the needs of each client.
• Fundamental IT abilities for communication and recordkeeping.
• To safely transport clients, a driver must have a valid driver’s license.

Requirements:

Certificate of Care
