YOU MUST HAVE A FULL UK MANUAL DRIVING LICENSE TO APPLY FOR THIS ROLE

Shifts:35 hours per week, based on a Sunday to Monday rota. Must be flexible over 7 days.

This role will be a mixture of Care shifts and Activities shifts.

Payrate:£12.60 - £12.90 per hour

Location:Tan Yr Allt House, 14 Alltwen Hill, Pontardawe, SA8 3AB

Social Care Wales:You will have six months from starting the position to register for your SCW pin

What is involved

As an Activities Care Assistant you would be in charge of designing, planning and organising activities to meet residents' physical, social and emotional needs.

You will be tasked with arranging a variety of activities such as: the cinema, shopping days, pet therapy, sports events or concerts, arts & crafts and lots more.

You make people feel good, being there for them when life gets tough, and you do it with a smile on your face.

We take time to get to know people irrespective of ability or disability, we aim to empower individuals to be as involved as they can be in control of their life.

You will support people with diverse needs such as learning disabilities, autism, ABI, and mental health. You will support people to flourish in a place they call home. We support people to be ambitious and live a filled life.
