A leading insurance company in Northampton is seeking an experienced FCA Compliance Manager to oversee regulatory compliance and build strong stakeholder relationships. The role involves developing compliance frameworks, providing guidance on FCA requirements, and supporting a culture that meets regulatory responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the FCA handbook, excellent communication skills, and a desire to improve customer experiences. As a FCA Compliance Manager you will be responsible for the effective management of the Regulatory Compliance Team which will provide guidance around product development and product changes, financial promotions and marketing, customer journeys online and offline and support the wider risk and compliance team design outsourcer oversight and the compliance monitoring plan.
Any regulatory compliance incidents that occur (including near misses) may require your support to the UK Company Secretary to ensure that incidents are managed and closed with relevant stakeholders involved immediately.
You will build strong relationships with key stakeholders externally and across the organisation ensuring positive assurances are delivered through team meetings and committee meetings to demonstrate the effectiveness of controls and drive continuous improvement within the business.
You will play a key role in creating a culture aligned to the regulations and ensure we demonstrate the business embraces the consumer duty supports customers with vulnerabilities and meets its regulatory responsibilities.
