Fast Track Graduates - Editing From £27,500 p.a. (+ lots of benefits) CGP seeks top humanities, arts and languages graduates...

At CGP, we obsess about high standards for everything - our people, our processes, and our products. We're now looking for ambitious, driven graduates with humanities backgrounds to join us on an accelerated path to becoming great Senior Editors.

We'll teach you how to write and edit content in our distinctive CGP style, but you'll also take on early responsibilities for project management. You'll need to be able to demonstrate your determination and drive - you'll relish a challenge and thrive on it. It goes without saying, you'll have an excellent academic record (at least a 2:1 degree and AAB at A-Level) and some paid work experience under your belt.

What you'll do
  • Create content to a high standard - writing or editing text and graphics
  • Produce beautifully laid out pages in CGP's instantly recognisable house style
  • Manage elements of editing projects, e.g. video, audio, or digital parts of projects
  • Take on tasks or projects to improve the way the department works, including working with people from across the business
  • Support your project leader and team manager to deliver the aims of the department

When you have more experience, you'll also take on:-

  • Project management of entire editing projects, taking overall responsibility for the project (including budget)
  • Higher level editing tasks such as page planning, reviewing internal content and external author work, and proofreading
Why CGP?
  • We're the UK's No.1 educational publisher
  • There are tonnes of opportunities (and encouragement) to progress your career
  • We tend to do things a bit differently - who else has their very own Quirk Ambassador?
  • And all on the doorstep of our favourite national park!
