An established top-tier legal practice is seeking a talented Family Solicitor to join its highly regarded Family Law department. The successful candidate will manage a caseload of complex matters involving divorce financial remedies private law children issues and TOLATA claims. Key Responsibilities
- Handle a varied caseload of family law matters including divorce financial settlements and private children cases.
- Provide clear empathetic and professional legal advice to clients.
- Conduct cases efficiently from instruction to resolution ensuring compliance with quality and procedural standards.
- Contribute to strategic case planning and client care excellence.
- Supervise or mentor junior team members where required.
- Support business development and the departments professional profile.
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with a minimum of 4 years PQE in family law.
- Strong background in divorce and financial remedy cases with experience in private law children matters.
- Member of Resolution (essential); additional specialist accreditation is an advantage.
- Excellent client care skills and sound judgement in complex or sensitive matters.
- Ability to manage competing priorities with professionalism and discretion.
- Collaborative approach with a proactive solution-oriented mindset.

Required Education
- An undergraduate degree in any subject (a law degree is preferred but not mandatory)
- Passing the two stages of the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE1 and SQE2)
- Completion of two years qualifying work experience (QWE) which can be gained through various legal placements including paralegal roles law clinics or apprenticeships
- Meeting the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) character and suitability requirements
