Family Solicitor – 3+ PQE – West Yorkshire – £70,000 (DOE) – Job Ref: 2131

This role offers the potential to progress to Head of Department, with excellent support and career development opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • You will manage a broad range of family and childcare law matters, including care proceedings and PLO cases, private law children disputes, and applications for domestic abuse, non‑molestation, and occupation orders.
  • Your work will also cover divorce and financial remedies, as well as wider family law issues such as disputes involving unmarried couples and cohabitation.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years’ PQE in family/childcare law, confident working independently or as part of a team, with strong advocacy skills and the ability to represent clients in hearings.
  • Experience in managing or generating your own caseload (a following desirable), knowledge of legal aid alongside private work, and ambition to achieve panel accreditation and future leadership.
