A public health organization in Luton is seeking a candidate to develop and maintain a Family History Service. The role involves administrative functions related to screenings and collaboration with genetic services. Strong office skills and experience in data management are essential. The successful applicant will oversee clinic appointments and ensure efficient service provision while maintaining strong communication. To develop, organise and maintain the provision of a high quality Family History Service to answer the needs and requirements necessary in running this Service.
To deliver the call/recall and administrative function related to family history and increased risk breast screening, including a close collaboration with the MRI department, external genetic services and BARD acting on receipt of new very high-risk referrals. Ensuring that the relevant protocols are used for all Family History and increased risk screening.
To possess a high level of personal time management, organisation and planning skills. Ensuring that when working autonomously, to set protocols and boundaries, and ensure the administrative processes works effectively, especially during the management of VHR, Higher, High Risk and Moderate patients.
