A well-established legal firm in Lancashire is seeking a family solicitor to join a supportive team focused on children's law, care proceedings, and domestic abuse work. The role offers flexible working with 4 days WFH after induction, along with competitive salary and clear progression pathways. Are you a family solicitor with a passion for children law, care proceedings or domestic abuse work? Join a well-established, Legal Aid-accredited family team that truly puts people first whether that’s vulnerable clients, local communities or their own employees. You’ll be part of a close-knit team led by respected directors, supported by a dedicated paralegal and secretarial team that will take pressure off your day-to-day workload.

Whether you want to focus on private children matters, care proceedings or take on a mixed caseload including divorce and finance, the structure is in place to shape the role around your strengths.

Who we’re looking for

Ideally 3+ PQE, but NQs will be considered with relevant experience. Strong understanding of legal aid and family law procedures. Comfortable with advocacy, or keen to develop in this area. Emotionally intelligent and composed when dealing with sensitive matters. Team player with resilience, drive and a sense of humour.
