A local authority in Scotland is looking for a community-focused professional to help implement the Family First Model. This role is integral in supporting families, particularly in secondary school settings, to enhance their wellbeing and cohesion. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement with flexible hours. The ideal candidate will engage collaboratively with council and voluntary agencies, contributing to community health and support initiatives. Competitive salary and a robust benefits package are provided.
You will be an integral member of team working across South Ayrshire to support families, strengthening the implementation of the Family First Model in partnership with Education. You will be based across South Ayrshire Secondary school settings and their associated primaries. You will undertake focussed work with young people and their families to improve their wellbeing and help to achieve their potential. You will oversee whole family plans to build cohesion and confidence in families. At the heart of these plans will be a relationship-based approach that identifies what the service can do to initiate the greatest change or impact for our families. This will include working in partnership with key agencies to ensure that our families receive support as early as possible to make the task of parenting easier and prevent family breakdown. You will work with a range of council and voluntary agency partners to build family capital and contribute to the Strategic Outcomes of South Ayrshires Childrens Services Plan.
