Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Factory Operative to work in Aldridge, England. You will be responsible for loading/unloading materials, operating machinery safely, and maintaining the production line. Candidates should have previous experience in factory environments, possess good communication skills, and have a team-oriented attitude. The role requires lifting weights of up to 25KG and flexibility for rotating shifts. A Counterbalance licence is preferred but training may be provided.

Job description

Factory Operative

Must be able to lift 25KG.

25782 per annum.

Location: Aldridge Walsall.

Employment Type: Full-Time Permanent.

Shift Rotation: Week 1: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM; Week 2: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (4:00 PM finish on Friday).

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload materials ensuring items are handled safely and efficiently.
• Operate machinery safely and effectively adhering to health and safety protocols.
• Assist with the smooth running of the production line and factory operations.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
• Work collaboratively with the team to meet daily production targets.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines and procedures.
• Operate the FLT (if qualified) for material handling when required.

What We Are Looking For:

• Previous experience in a factory or warehouse environment is preferred.
• FLT / Counterbalance licence is preferred but training can be provided.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
