Responsibilities

• Clean all areas of the factory including outside areas.
• Manage swarf and coolant disposal.
• Top up oils and clean machine tools as required.
• Ensure canteen and toilet areas are clean.
• Empty waste and recycle bins regularly.
• Manage laundry for hand towels.
• Adhere to company and HSE Health and Safety requirements.

Job description

Overview

We are looking for a Factory Cleaner / Labourer for a large and established precision engineering company in Totton who specialise in the supply of complex manufactured components and assemblies to the aerospace and defence sectors.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning of all areas of the factory including all outside areas.
• Swarf and coolant management
• Check and top up oils.
• Clean machine tools as required.
• Cleaning of the canteen area and toilets
• Ensure all waste and recycle bins are emptied
• Management of laundry including all hand towels
• To ensure that safe working practices are maintained adhering to company and HSE Health and Safety requirements as stated in the Employee Handbook
• Perform any other task which is considered within your capability & within the scope of the job role.

Working hours

The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:15pm. Immediate start available!
