Overview
Facilities Operative (cleaning) at Whitstable & Tankerton Hospital. The post involves working from 7am to 11am, a 2 week rota pattern, and working alternate weekends. The closing date is 01 October 2025. The hourly rate in this role is £12.51. Weekend, Bank Holiday and unsociable hours (8pm - 6am) attract enhanced pay. Benefits include: 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays (entitlement increases with length of service); automatic enrolment into the NHS Pension scheme (opt out available); access to NHS discounts and Blue Light card discounts.

This is primarily a hands-on cleaning position where you will learn background skills and knowledge to enable you to complete the role, including enhanced and periodic clean training, National Cleaning standards, completion of paperwork, equipment training and waste management.
