Overview

Emmaus Inc., a non-profit in Haverhill, MA, is seeking a full-time Maintenance Worker. The successful candidate will work as part of our facilities management team to provide preventative, routine, and emergency multi-site property management services. This will include general upkeep of residential apartment buildings and program offices with skills in basic plumbing, carpentry and unit turnover.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventative, routine, and emergency property management services across multiple sites as part of facilities management
• Perform general upkeep of residential apartment buildings and program offices; basic plumbing, carpentry, and unit turnover

Qualifications

• Must participate in on-call rotation to respond to emergencies on evenings and weekends
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, small electrical repairs, general maintenance, ability to use floor maintenance machines, and willingness to perform cleaning duties as needed
• Ability to perform physical work and lift/move objects up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to read and speak English
• Good interpersonal skills with courteous and professional manner
• Must have a valid driver's license in good standing and be willing to travel locally
• Must be able to pass CORI and driving records check
• Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19
