Role Overview

We are looking for motivated individuals to join our Facilities Services Team as a Facilities Assistant - domestic at Sherwood Oaks Hospital, who are responsible for all our patient and non‑patient areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all areas are maintained to a high standard of Facilities Assistant duties.
  • Cleanliness and following work schedules, method statements and procedures.
  • Maintain a high standard of work while working effectively and flexibly both alone and as part of a team.
Qualifications & Experience

Previous experience working within a domestic, cleaning, catering environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.

Working Hours & Pay

The vacancy is 25.67 hours, working 5/7 including weekends and bank holidays, hours to be discussed at interview. Enhanced rates for weekends and bank holidays.

Additional Information

Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), and this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment. Applicants are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service, with an annual fee of £16 per year.
