Overview

Façades Project Manager – Manchester

£55,000 – £60,000 + Car or Car Allowance

Our client is a leading façade and building envelope specialist, delivering a wide variety of projects across the UK. With project values typically ranging from £100k to £1m, they operate within sectors including high-rise accommodation, public sector buildings, commercial and industrial schemes. Known for their person-centred culture and strong team ethos, they now seek an experienced Façades Project Manager to join their expanding business.

This role offers the opportunity to manage external works projects from inception to completion, ensuring delivery safely, on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards. The role will involve managing site teams, liaising with clients and consultants, and coordinating subcontractors and suppliers to deliver successful outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver façade, cladding, roofing, brickwork, remediation, and restoration projects valued £100k–£1m.
• Oversee project programmes, budgets, and health & safety compliance.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Lead and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to achieve smooth delivery.
• Conduct regular site inspections, ensuring quality and resolving any issues.
• Track financial performance and liaise with QS and commercial teams on valuations and applications.
• Use project systems, software, and programming tools to plan, monitor, and control project delivery.
• Report to senior management on project progress, risks, and opportunities.
• Support the company’s collaborative, team-driven approach to every project.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience delivering external works projects including façades, roofing, brickwork, remediation, or restoration.
• Knowledge of the building envelope sector and associated trades.
• Confident using construction-related computer systems and programming tools.
• 3+ years’ experience as a Project Manager within construction.
• Degree, HNC, or HND in Construction Management or related discipline (preferred).
• SMSTS qualification.
• CSCS card.
• First Aid at Work.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Adaptable, motivated, and able to manage multiple projects.
