The role includes fabrication and welding primarily with MIG, along with some mechanical fitting duties. Qualifications

• Able to fabricate & weld with MIG and knowledgeable in MMA & TIG.
• Experience with workshop machinery tools is essential.
• Certifications in welding fabrication preferable.

Responsibilities

• Work from engineering drawings to fabricate and weld components.
• Primarily work in the Fab Shop with occasional site installations.
• Handle mechanical fitting duties on machinery and hydraulic systems.

Skills

Fabrication & welding with MIG

Experience with MMA and TIG

Familiarity with tube bending machine and press brake

Education

C & G or NVQ in Welding Fabrication or Sheet Metalwork
