Job summary

A leading engineering manufacturer in East Midlands is seeking an experienced Fabricator/Welder for a 3-month contract. The ideal candidate will possess strong MIG and TIG welding skills, along with a background in general fabrication techniques. This role offers £20 per hour through an Umbrella company PAYE and is an excellent opportunity to work for a respected company in the industry.

Fabricator/Welder

Derby

3 Month Contract

20 per hour (Umbrella, PAYE)

Excellent opportunity for a Fabricator/Welder for an immediately available contract role working for a market‑leading manufacturer. The company is respected across the industry for delivering high‑quality machinery and bespoke solutions. Due to growth and current project demands, they are currently looking for a Fabricator/Welder on a contract basis. The person will come from a quality engineering background and have knowledge of a variety of processes within a manufacturing/engineering environment.

Role

• MIG & TIG welding of stainless steel and mild steel parts
• General fabrication tasks, including cutting, bending, assembling, and finishing components
• Contract Length: 3 months
• Rate: £20 per hour, paid via Umbrella company PAYE

The Person

• Proven experience with both MIG and TIG welding (stainless & mild steel)
• Strong background in general fabrication techniques
• Ability to read and interpret technical/engineering drawings
• Previous work on machinery or conveyor systems is advantageous
