A leading manufacturing company in Droitwich Spa is seeking an experienced Fabricator Welder to join their team. The role involves fabricating and welding structures for bespoke work holding solutions, including robotic welding fixtures. Candidates should be skilled in MIG and potentially TIG welding, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to operate overhead cranes. This position offers flexible hours, 33 days of holiday, including Bank Holidays, and competitive wage based on experience.

Job description

Fabricator Welder

Experienced, quality fabricator welder required to fabricate and weld structures for bespoke work holding solutions including robotic welding fixtures, end of arm grippers, positioners for the automotive, off-highway vehicles and industrial applications.

Key Skills and Experience

• MIG weld to coded standard including multi-pass
• Read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experienced fabricating and welding heavy fabrications, material gauge 6mm-70mm, include SHS, RHS, laser cut and flame cut profiles.
• TIG welding an advantage
• Experience in overhead crane operation and slinging
• Demonstrate the safe use of equipment including abrasive wheels, grinders
• Good communicator at all levels
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Keen attention to detail
• Knowledge of and obey Health & Safety Legislation
• Ability to work in a safe manner with minimal supervision

Role

• 39 hours Monday - Friday, Flexible hours + x1.5 O/T
• 33 days holiday, including Bank Holidays
