Job description

Overview

We are currently working with a heavy engineering business in Barnsley to recruit a number of Fabricator Welders. These roles are suitable for experienced Fabricators with at least 5 year's experience working with heavy steel. These roles are on a temporary basis but with the distinct possibility of a transfer to a permanent role.

Responsibilities

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Fabricating various types of heavy steel components
• MIG and Stick welding
• Operating overhead cranes
• General workshop duties as required

Pay & Hours

Monday to Thursday: 7:00am - 3:45pm
Friday: 6:00am - 1:00pm
Pay dependent on experience (minimum £15 per hour)
Regular overtime is available
