This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Fabrication Workshop Supervisor to join a well‑established and dynamic steel fabrication business. Based in the M28 area of Walkden, the company delivers high‑quality fabrication and erection services for a range of building structures, from small‑scale jobs to complex construction projects. With a strong focus on quality, safety, and precision, the team provides bespoke steelwork solutions from design through to site installation.

This position would suit a hands‑on and detail‑oriented individual with a strong background in metal fabrication and welding. The ideal candidate will be an experienced supervisor who enjoys leading a workshop team, thrives under pressure, and takes pride in delivering work to exacting standards. A practical, safety‑conscious professional with strong leadership and communication skills will excel in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily workshop operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and high‑quality output.
  • Interpret manufacturing packages, produce cutting lists, and manage material ordering.
  • Fabricate metal components using MIG and TIG welding techniques to precise specifications.
  • Manage and motivate the workshop team, delegating tasks and monitoring progress.
  • Maintain accurate production records and ensure compliance with ISO quality standards.
