Job description

Position: EYFS Teacher

At Teaching Personnel, we are committed to supporting schools with enthusiastic and dedicated educators who value child‑centred learning, holistic development, and inclusive practice. As an EYFS Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting children’s early development and helping them build strong foundations for lifelong learning.

Responsibilities
  • Planning and delivering engaging, play‑based learning experiences in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework

  • Creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment where children feel happy, confident, and supported

  • Supporting children’s development across the prime and specific areas of learning, including communication and language, physical development, and personal, social and emotional development

  • Building strong relationships with children, parents, carers, and colleagues to support each child’s learning journey

  • Working collaboratively with support staff and participating in school events, training, and professional development opportunities

Qualifications
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching in EYFS is desirable, though ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply

  • A sound understanding of the EYFS framework and child development

  • Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills

  • A genuine passion for early years education and creating a positive, inclusive learning environment
