Job summary

A respected educational agency is seeking passionate EYFS Teachers for positions in South Birmingham. Role: EYFS Teacher (Nursery & Reception)

Location: South Birmingham

Salary: £135+ per day (dependent on experience and scale)

Contract: Full-time, Part-time, and Supply opportunities for 2025

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver creative, play-based lessons aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Conduct regular observations and track student progress toward Early Learning Goals (ELGs).
  • Maintain a secure, nurturing environment, ensuring high standards of safeguarding and pupil well-being.
  • Collaborate with TAs and other staff members to ensure a consistent, inclusive approach to learning.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential for most primary school roles; Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS) is accepted for nursery settings.
  • Experience: Proven experience teaching Nursery or Reception classes within the British curriculum.
  • Compliance: Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to process a new one) and two professional references.
  • Skills: Strong communication, patience, and a deep understanding of early childhood development.
