EYFS & KS1 Teacher (Flexible, NG12, Nottinghamshire)

Location: NG12, Nottinghamshire
Start Date: Immediately
Salary: £150-£220 per day

Education Personnel is working with a primary school in the NG12 area of Nottinghamshire to recruit a flexible EYFS & KS1 Teacher. This is an excellent opportunity for an early years and Key Stage 1 Teacher to join a school where the early years provision and KS1 learning environment are well established, and staff work closely to support children's transition from early years into formal schooling.

The school's most recent inspection outcomes show that early years and KS1 provision are strong, with effective routines and assessment practices enabling children to make progress across key areas of learning. Teachers work collaboratively with families and support staff to ensure that children feel confident, settled and ready to take the next steps in their learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare and deliver teaching across EYFS and KS1 in line with statutory guidance
  • Create a learning environment that supports early development and the shift to formal learning
  • Use ongoing assessment to record pupil progress and inform next steps
  • Build strong partnerships with parents and carers to support learning at school and home
  • Work with support staff and colleagues to maintain continuity of provision
  • Participate in wider school activities and contribute to community events
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in EYFS and/or KS1 settings
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and KS1 curriculum
  • Effective classroom management and communication skills
  • Ability to support a range of learners, including those with additional needs
