Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking an Export Coordinator for a full-time position in London. The role involves ensuring export documentation accuracy, compliance with customs regulations, and effective communication both within the team and with external partners. Candidates should have strong analytical skills and ideally some knowledge of Cargowise. This position operates on a shift basis of 4 days on, 4 days off, including nights.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in export documentation and compliance with HMRC control requirements.
  • Ability to learn systems quickly and match export records using NES.
  • Security 'Regulated Agent' training preferred (training provided if not certified).

Responsibilities

Job description

Our client is seeking an Export Coordinator for a full-time position working shifts 4 on 4 off - Day and Nights (12-hour shifts - 4 days on, 4 days off, 4 nights on, 4 nights off re-occurring)

Key Activities
  • Production and preparation of LHR Gateway paperwork and all related export requirements.
  • Compliance with HMRC control requirements for exports.
  • Liaise with airlines, UK branches, and Warehouse.
  • Adhere to CAA security protocols and processes.
Job Responsibilities
  • Achieve personal and operational targets; report any issues affecting performance (e.g., customs paperwork, monitoring inbound/outbound flights).
  • Ensure shipment procedures follow operational guidelines; elevate concerns to the line manager (e.g., generating manifests or CSDs).
  • Maintain accurate data on company systems.
  • Request materials and services required to meet targets.
  • Contribute to safety and hygiene standards.
  • Use IT systems effectively (Windows, Word, Excel).
Specific Technical Requirements
  • Ensure accurate completion of export documentation.
  • Ability to learn systems quickly.
  • Match export records for customs using the NES system.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Security “Regulated Agent” training preferred (training provided if not certified).
  • Knowledge of Cargowise system preferred but not essential.
  • Analytical skills are an advantage.
