Qualifications

• Previous experience in import/export roles.
• Strong IT skills and familiarity with excel and ERPs.

Responsibilities

• Deal with export and import work, primarily via sea freight.
• Ensure compliance through accurate customs documents.
• Liaise with customers and internal contacts.
• Select best shipping methods based on cost and efficiency.
• Manage brokerage workflows.
• Check and approve freight forwarding invoices.

Skills

Experience in a similar import/export role with hauliers and freight forwarders

Knowledge of various Incoterms (FOB, EXW, DAP, DDP)

Knowledge of commodity codes and customs tariff classifications

Experience managing regulatory compliance with customs authorities

Strong IT skills including Excel and ERPs

Strong organizational skills
