Qualifications

• Proven ability to develop Standard Operating Procedures for laboratory operations.
• Experience in managing and mentoring laboratory staff.
• Strong problem-solving skills combined with technical expertise in laboratory testing.

Responsibilities

• Support design, procurement, installation of laboratory testing capabilities.
• Recruit and manage a team of Chemists and Lab Technicians.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Skills

Proven experience within a laboratory or testing environment

Analytical and wet chemistry experience including HPLC and GC

Education

Science degree, HND or equivalent

Tools

NEBOSH certificate in Occupational Health and Safety
