Are you an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant looking for a role where your expertise is actually valued?

This warm, well-structured primary school in Hillingdon is looking for a skilled SEND TA to support a child with Autism, communication needs and sensory regulation in EYFS/KS1.

This isn’t an entry-level role — the school specifically wants someone who already has SEND experience and understands the complexities of autism.

You MUST have:
  • Previous experience supporting pupils with SEND (Autism/ADHD/Speech & Language/SEMH)
  • Confidence using visual supports, routines and sensory strategies
  • A calm, consistent and patient approach
  • The ability to work closely with the SENCo and class teacher
Desirable (but not essential):
  • Autism Awareness training or qualification
  • Team Teach/MAPA
  • Speech & Language or behaviour support experience
What the role involves:
  • 1:1 support for a child with ASD
  • Helping with communication, emotional regulation & sensory processing
  • Supporting small SEND groups when needed
