Veterinary Surgeon – Medicine-Focused Role
Location: London/Essex Border
Full-Time | 40 Hours Competitive Salary + Excellent Benefits

Our client is set in leafy suburbs, right on the Essex-London border, where you’ll enjoy the best of both worlds – a village vibe with buzzing cafes and restaurants, and fast, direct links into central London.

Are you a vet with a passion for internal medicine and diagnostic imaging? Looking to step into a dynamic, fast-paced hospital setting with a varied and complex caseload? Whether you're already a certificate holder or a strong GP vet ready to focus more on medicine, they’d love to hear from you.

About the Role:

Our Client is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic vet to join an expanding team at their flagship hospital site providing first opinion, ECC, and referral services to 20 local branches. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your medicine and imaging skills while being supported by a talented multidisciplinary team.

  1. Full-time (40 hours/week)
  2. 1 in 3 Saturdays, 1 in 6 Sundays, fair on-call rotation, and 2 bank holidays per year
  3. Shifts include 9am–7pm and 12pm–10pm, offering exposure to both day and night caseloads
  4. One of the busiest and best-equipped hospitals in the region
  5. Advanced diagnostics on site including CT scanner and commercial lab
  6. On-site specialists and certificate holders in internal medicine, surgery, and ECC
  7. Experienced RVNs, nursing assistants, and front-of-house team
  8. Work alongside dedicated night and day teams
  9. Excellent opportunities for progression and certificate support
