This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant to provide high‑level administrative, diary management and project support to senior leaders within a values‑led not‑for‑profit organisation.

SALARY: £30,000 per annum + Benefits

LOCATION: Crewe, Cheshire, North West England

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm

Job Overview

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an Executive Assistant to play a pivotal role in supporting senior leadership and helping deliver positive outcomes for the wider community.

As an Executive Assistant you will provide high-level executive and project management support, managing complex diaries, coordinating meetings, preparing reports, and ensuring actions are followed through effectively. You will work closely with senior stakeholders and contribute to organisational planning and performance reporting.

The Executive Assistant will also support governance processes, assist with board and committee administration, and help analyse organisational data to inform strategic decision-making. This role requires discretion, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Duties

Your duties as the Executive Assistant include:

  • Executive Support: Providing high-level administrative and diary management support using sound judgement and discretion
  • Meeting Management: Attending key meetings, tracking actions, and supporting delivery of agreed outcomes
  • Governance Support: Coordinating board and sub-committee meetings including agendas, reports and accurate minute‑taking
  • Project Coordination: Supporting specific projects and development initiatives, liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Briefing Preparation: Researching and preparing background papers and briefing materials ahead of meetings and engagements
  • Data & Reporting Support: Assisting with organisational data consolidation, analysis and performance reporting
  • Workflow Management: Managing approvals and ensuring documentation and processes are completed on time
  • Compliance Support: Ensuring health, safety and compliance requirements are met within areas of responsibility
Candidate Requirements
Essential
  • Proven experience working as an Executive Assistant or Personal Assistant at a senior level
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Experience with diary management, meeting coordination and senior stakeholder engagement
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and database systems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with minimal supervision
  • High level of integrity, professionalism and discretion
Desirable
  • Experience of working within a charity or not-for-profit organisation
  • Background in data management, reporting or organisational analysis
  • Experience supporting boards, committees or senior leadership teams
  • Familiarity with regulatory or governance environments
