Exams Officer


£28,561 per annum

About the Role


  • You will play a key role in the planning, coordination and administration of examinations and assessments

  • You will manage all aspects of the examinations process including registration, scheduling, delivery and certification

  • You will ensure full compliance with awarding body regulations and relevant regulatory requirements

  • You will work closely with curriculum teams to support effective exam planning and delivery

  • You will liaise with students, awarding organisations and invigilators to ensure examinations run smoothly

  • You will maintain accurate records and uphold the security and integrity of the examinations process


About You


  • You will have experience of working within a school or college exams team or similar administrative role

  • You will have excellent IT Skills, including use of databases and spreadsheets

  • You will be highly organised and able to work methodically, accurately and to tight deadlines

  • You will have a professional, customer-focused approach with a discreet attitude to all aspects of work

  • You will have the ability to communicate with all levels of staff, students and external customers in a confident manner

  • Experience of student records systems would be beneficial

  • You will have knowledge of JCQ regulations
