About the Role

We are looking for an accomplished, highly experienced and qualified Event Manager, specialising in email communication, platform management and delegate management, who has demonstrated strong administration, logistical planning and smooth delivery of a diverse range of events. Reporting to the Associate Event Director, our ideal candidate is a technically minded communications expert with 5+ years of experience in events registration and delegate communication.

Responsibilities:
  • Experience running simultaneous projects in a calm and efficient manner
  • Interest in the technical aspects of comms, platforms, and delegate management as part of the overall event delivery.
  • Hunger for and knowledge of the latest trends in digital, hybrid, and in-person events, driving creativity and idea generation
  • Ability to use their initiative to keep projects moving forward and exceeding client expectations
  • A proactive person, possessing excellent communication, motivational, and problem‑solving skills
  • A positive, can‑do, and solutions‑driven attitude
  • Analytical thinker who questions our outputs, with expert attention to detail
  • Great communication skills with internal and external stakeholders and clients
  • Deadline management - both with internal stakeholders and clients
  • Devise and implement strategy and execution of event comms and platforms, helping our clients drive engagement and present performance recaps and recommendations.
  • Using internal systems to build and manage a range of livestream and event platforms with accompanying mass email campaigns using CSS/HTML-coded emails and basic websites.
  • Delegate management, both digital and in-person, including registration and communications. Being responsible for the effective and efficient delegate registration, both virtually and in-person.
  • Working with our internal teams, including creative design, technical delivery, and content creation, to deliver excellent results for our clients.
  • Manage our client platforms and websites, while owning the relationship with your clients and keeping them updated on the project progress.
  • Carrying out detailed post‑event reporting using the Google Suite of tools, including Google Sheets.
  • Ensuring the accuracy of data for post‑campaign reports, as well as prioritising issues for all customer registration information.
About You
The essentials:
  • Demonstrated understanding of the objectives of an event and how event technology can be integrated to enhance the experience.
  • Working with comms and event platforms and having an intermediate level knowledge of how HTML/CSS emails are created.
  • Having worked closely with cross‑functional teams, including Copywriters, Designers, HTML Developers, and Event Managers
  • Event trend awareness and competitive insights
  • Excellent ability to multitask and stay abreast of multiple projects at one time
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and be able to quickly react to new/urgent requests
  • High energy, detail‑oriented person, with a go‑getter, positive attitude; comfortable working autonomously and within groups
  • Experience working directly with clients to build strong relationships and create a positive experience that helps meet clients' business expectations and needs
  • Effective verbal, written, and presentation‑related communication skills around project planning and status, roadblocks, and, when needed, alternate courses of action
