European Road Freight Import Operator | Stanford-le-Hope (London Gateway) | £30,000–£35,000

Noble Recruiting are recruiting an experienced European Road Freight Import Operator to join a well-managed and highly regarded logistics business based at London Gateway, Stanford-le-Hope, Essex.

Key responsibilities

• Managing European road freight import operations and European groupage services
• Arranging freight movements from origin to final destination (international and UK domestic)
• Liaising with customers, overseas partners and suppliers to prevent delays and maintain service levels
• Supporting import documentation and customs paperwork as required
• Calculating costs and charges manually, including taxable kilos

Key requirements

• 2+ years’ European road freight experience (import experience essential)
• Experience with customs paperwork and import documentation
• Confident manual calculations of charges and costs
• Strong customer service and clear communication
• Able to work independently and within a team
• UK right to work; driver/own transport desirable
