A leading healthcare organization in Dundee is seeking an experienced Estates Manager to oversee property management at NHS Tayside Hospital. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards, managing budgets, and maintaining equipment. The ideal candidate should possess strong project management skills and be capable of leading a team. This permanent full-time role requires travel between NHS sites as necessary.

A permanent opportunity has arisen for the Estates Manager in the Property Department, Estates Division, based at Ninewells Hospital, Dundee, with senior management responsibilities across NHS Tayside to assist the Head of Estates in meeting the strategic and (where required) operational objectives within NHS Tayside.
Ensure compliance of service within agreed Statutory, Mandatory, Safety, Environmental, Quality Standards, Policies and Procedures. Design, Project Manage and implement all delegated projects and tasks. Deputise for the Head of Estates as required. The post holder may be required to work at any NHS Tayside Property as necessary.
Job Role is to maintain all plant, equipment, Estates Division transport and grounds at the NHS Tayside Hospital and Health care sites in a satisfactory, operational condition at all times through the provision of a cost-effective maintenance service and to agreed quality, statutory, safety and environmental performance standards. To maintain the highest standard of patient and staff environment and service from the resources available.
The Postholder is responsible for the revenue and capital budgets allocated under their delegated authority and all Estates staff under their remit. Participation in an on-call rota and the ability to travel between NHS sites are required.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Inductions standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
