A higher education institution in Mabe Burnthouse is seeking an Estates Compliance Engineer to ensure all maintenance and project works meet the highest standards of compliance. The role involves collaboration with diverse stakeholders, oversight of maintenance and project activities, and management of contractor performance. The ideal candidate has a strong technical qualification and experience in compliance or facilities management. We are looking to recruit a Estates Compliance Engineer which is a pivotal role within the Estates Service. The postholder is responsible for ensuring all maintenance and project works across the FX Plus estate meet the highest standards of statutory and organisational compliance. In this key position, you will have oversight of statutory and mandatory maintenance and management plans, quality assurance inspections, and liaison with contractors and statutory authorities to ensure high levels of service delivery and adherence to technical standards. You will collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders across FX Plus and both universities, providing expert support in the organisation and oversight of planned and reactive maintenance, as well as project activities. A core element of the role is ensuring that external contractors deliver work safely, professionally, and efficiently, in line with compliance requirements.

You will bring a strong technical or engineering qualification or equivalent with experience in a compliance, engineering, or facilities management role within estates or construction environments.
