Working Hours: 37 hours per week

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Respond to the Estates Helpdesk requests ensuring all maintenance requests are carried out within an expected period; identify and action immediately any Health and Safety issues; follow up any problems that arise and liaise back to the Estates Building Services Manager with queries, problems and amended plans.
  • Undertake as directed planned maintenance tasks which may include painting and decorating to maintain a safe, clean and aesthetically pleasing learning environment.
  • Basic maintenance tasks such as painting, lamp replacement, plumbing and managing completion of these tasks.
  • Maintain security of campus and assets – this includes challenging learners and unidentified persons.
