Lecturer Opportunity

Lewisham College requires a number of qualified, dedicated and enthusiastic Tutors to take on the role of ESOL Lecturer/s (part‑time day/evening) to join our thriving team. The main responsibilities of this role include the delivery and assessment of high‑quality ESOL learning programmes, tutorial and administration duties.

Successful applicants will have experience of teaching ESOL to adult learners, teaching non‑regulated and exam courses at a variety of levels. It would also be advantageous to have experience teaching maths, ICT and employability to ESOL students.

Qualifications
  • A CELTA qualification
  • Be qualified to degree level
  • Hold a post‑16 teaching qualification
  • Possess L2 English and maths qualifications or be willing to achieve these within an agreed timeframe

It is desirable that the candidate has experience in FE and a proven track record of successful teaching and assessment practice. An ability to self‑manage workload, meet deadlines and strong oral and written communication skills are essential requirements.
