ESG Product Lead

We’re looking for an ESG Product Lead to drive our sustainability agenda from the ground up. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll be our eyes and ears in the field, connecting with suppliers, customers, and our sales teams to ensure we stay at the forefront of eco‑friendly construction and rental solutions across the UK.

This is a remote role with occasional travel to our head office in Manchester.

A typical day:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal sales teams to stay ahead of emerging eco‑friendly products and ESG trends in the UK construction and rental sector.
• Conduct site visits to understand the practical realities of sustainable product usage and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
• Maintain the company’s position at the forefront of ESG developments by championing and influencing the latest product innovations suitable for our customer base.
• Support the salesforce in effectively communicating and selling our complete ESG proposition, including our carbon reporting capabilities, to both existing and prospective customers.
• Translate complex sustainability concepts into practical solutions that resonate with customers and drive commercial success.
• Monitor industry developments and regulatory changes to ensure our ESG product strategy remains competitive and compliant.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of new sustainable products and services into our offering.

What you’ll bring:

• Genuine passion for sustainability and an understanding of ESG principles within the construction or rental sector
• Ability to build relationships and connect with people at varying levels, from site managers to executives
• Comfortable spending time travelling across the UK, visiting sites, suppliers, and customers and occasionally to our Head Office in Manchester.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative while keeping stakeholders informed and engaged
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical environmental information into clear and compelling business propositions
• A full UK driving licence
