Job summary

A regional healthcare provider in Walsall is seeking an Enhanced Role Pharmacy Technician to join their ePMA journey. In this role, you will provide technical support and training for the Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration System. The ideal candidate will have BTEC/NVQ Level 3 in Pharmaceutical Science, be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council, and demonstrate experience in a hospital environment. This role involves collaboration with various healthcare professionals and a focus on improving digital literacy within the Pharmacy team.

Qualifications

• Evidence of experience working as a technician in a hospital environment.
• Commitment to continuing professional development (CPD).
• Experience in utilising and understanding ePMA systems.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and maintenance of the ePMA system.
• Act as a superuser for the ePMA system.
• Contribute to improvements in digital literacy for Pharmacy staff.
• Liaise with healthcare professionals for effective use of ePMA.
