We have an opportunity for you. EPIC Relief Support Worker in Team EPIC, the innovative Youth Crime Prevention Service.
The successful candidate must have experience of working with young people, passionate about raising aspirations and be able to form positive relationships.
Core delivery periods will include evening, and weekends so must be prepared to work flexibly.
The role will aim to support the wider EPIC Team across all areas of our delivery work, mainly in the EPIC Hub.
The EPIC Hub is a young person led space based in the Frenchgate Shopping Centre providing young people with a safe space, where they can be themselves, engage in positive activities, workshops whilst being around trusted adults.
You will support the team on increasing the range of positive activities available for young people, provide a combination of positive recreational activities, educational development and support young people to achieve their potential whilst becoming a trusted adult for some young people.
The role will also provides detached based work within Doncaster City Centre and communities within Doncaster.
What you will bring to the team, skills in engaging and working with young people in a variety of different ways to enhance the team and delivery of our programmes. Enthusiasm, innovative ideas and a passion for improving the lives of young people through positive activities and learning.
