Overview

Environmental and Planning Lawyer (South East) – Hybrid working – Permanent – £80,000 - £85,000 per annum

An Environmental and Planning Lawyer is required to join a major utilities company based in the South East on a permanent basis.

The successful Environmental and Planning Lawyer will be able to get involved with interesting work of importance from the outset and will join an experienced, dynamic, and close-knit team.

The Environmental and Planning Lawyer will be able to benefit from flexible working arrangements, but will ideally be able to attend the office in the South East twice a week.

Responsibilities
  • Provide focused accurate, effective, and timely advice on a range of environmental and planning legal matters
  • Assisting with Environmental Information Regulation queries
  • Managing external legal resources
  • Providing legal support on ongoing, large-scale programmes and projects
Qualifications and Experience
  • Qualified as a lawyer (solicitor, barrister or equivalent)
  • Experience in Environmental and Planning Law
  • An ability to collaborate well as a team player and take on managerial responsibilities
  • Those with Public sector or private practice experience are encouraged to apply and previous in-house experience would also be beneficial but not necessary
