A leading engineering company in the UK is seeking an Environmental Advisor to manage environmental risks and compliance at their Rosyth site. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of UK environmental legislation and will lead site-wide environmental initiatives. As an Environmental Advisor, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll be the site’s environmental subject matter expert - shaping strategy, strengthening compliance and championing best practice across a major marine engineering environment. You’ll help us manage environmental risk, maintain and improve our ISO Environmental Management System, and investigate incidents so we continually learn and reduce impact. In short, you’ll protect our local environment while enabling programmes that are vital to defence, aerospace and engineering -work with purpose, scope and real career impact.
Day‑to‑day you’ll be required to:
This role is full time, 36 hours per week Monday to Friday and provides hybrid working arrangements.
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
